Inspire Educators with Art of Teaching MLLs

Professional Development

Professional learning should be practical, collaborative, and directly connected to classroom instruction. We design and facilitate workshops, coaching cycles, and professional learning experiences that help educators strengthen language development, literacy instruction, and support for multilingual and dually identified learners.

  • Language-rich instructional practices
  • Multilingual learner support across content areas
  • Co-teaching workshops
  • Collaborative PLC and coaching support
  • Learning science and curriculum implementation

Instructional Design

We create instructional tools, frameworks, and resources that help educators turn research and learning frameworks into meaningful classroom practice. Current work includes  practitioner-focused writing, instructional frameworks, professional learning materials, and tools that support language development at the word, sentence, and discourse levels.

Possible bullets:

  • ART of Teaching MLLs framework for formative assessment
  • Instructional tools and templates for explicit language instruction
  • Learner access through differentiation and language supports
  • Practitioner articles and blog content
  • Curriculum and PD resource design

Consulting

There’s a growing body of research around multilingual learners, intervention, and language development, but many schools still struggle to translate that knowledge into day-to-day practice. We partner with schools and educators to design practical tools, instructional practices, and systems that support multilingual and dually identified learners.

  • Multilingual learner program support
  • Instructional systems and intervention design
  • Collaboration across EL, literacy, and special education teams
  • MTSS and dually identified learner support
